An old variety from the county of Beauce, it is therefore very well adapted to the climate of Quebec. It has a surprising productivity for its immense size which can reach 15 cm in diameter. This tomato contains mostly flesh, very tasty, which makes it a good choice for preserves or sandwiches.

This is a true paste variety grown by the Amish in the Middlefield, Ohio area. Most fruit are about 3” long and shaped somewhat like San Marzano. Production was at least 20 pounds per plant and would probably have been higher were it not for the 2012 drought and heat. Excellent shelf life and equally great for sauce. Typical of its type, few seeds.
