Originated with Frau Isabella Buhrer-Keel of Basel, Switzerland who obtained the seeds from an Italian man whose mother grew this tomato in Naples, Italy. . Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 6-10 oz., red, pleated fruits. The name means “toothed” in German, and slices certainly present this appearance. The name says it all !!! This plant got giant. It was about 12 foot tall and produced and bunch of little heart shaped pinkish red fruit of about 12 - 32 ounces.
