Should be called ”Bloody Fool” from the rate of production. No end!Early maturing heirloom with a rich, tangy flavor. This blood red skinned variety is an all-purpose tomato. This variety is a great tomato to plant if you want to harvest tomatoes before anyone else! In less than 8 weeks from transplant, you will have juicy, mature fruits. // HISTORY: Bred by Tom Wagner, but introduced by the late Kees Sahin (Sahin Seeds), in 1998, of the Netherlands.

Blue-black fruit to 1½”, ripens to smoky-red. Very prolific and good taste for salads. A Brad Gates creation.

Red heart, 3” wide and 4” long. Very productive and meaty with vigorous wispy growth.// HISTORY: First listed in the early 1990s Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook by Ermal N. Kuhns of Indiana (IN KU E) as “BOOBIE” (named for its unmistakable heart/breast shape). The name later offended some, so the late, renowned tomato expert Dr. Carolyn Male quietly renamed her strain “Bobbie.” Grow-outs and trades over the years have confirmed that the two are identical.
