Some fruit went close to 2 pounds and a delight to slice for a BLT.85 days. Aussie heirloom tomato produces loads of impressive 1-2 pound meaty, red fluted tomatoes bursting with rich, sugary sweet flavor with just the right amount of old-fashioned tomato tang. Vigorous, indeterminate vines grow to 6 to 8 ft. tall. ... One of the most-loved tomatoes // A traditional Australian family heirloom that was grown for generations in home gardens Down Under before being brought to North America. It first appeared in the Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook in 1996, offered by member Thane Earle of White Bear Lake, Minnesota (SSE listing EARL), who received the seeds directly from a gardener in Australia. Earle described it as a long-time favorite in Australian backyards, often simply called “the big red” or “Grandma’s tomato.”

Nice tomato! A real pear, in a beautiful, almost pearly pink-red colour. The tomatoes are bigger than a cherry tomato but not as big as a 'regular' tomato. This tomato is medium early; I was able to harvest the first ripe tomatoes at the beginning of the 2nd week of July. Plants take up little space but is a Indeter. Not real productive.

65 days, Originally listed as potato leaf but have been told that they are very big rugose leaves. Designed for growing in containers, 2-2.5” round fruit for salad. Those who've grown it report that it's one which would be worth growing just for the beautiful foliage, the fact that the fruit is also good is a bonus. dev. in Serbia by Dr. Ivo Djinovic. It is not the German Balkonstar which is a hybrid.
