75 day, but mine were ripe in less then 70 days. It has a honey brown skin with an orange and green flesh. Very productive. Super great tasting tomato that produces tons of beautiful tomatoes until frost. // Thorburn’s Terra Cotta Tomato was introduced by J.M. Thorburn & Company in 1893. When the company closed in 1921, most of its vast seed library disappeared. It was long thought that the Terra Cotta Tomato was extinct, but thanks to a farmer who had kept it going for decades it was donated to William Woys Weaver’s Roughwood Seed Collection in 1993. Years of selection have taken place to produce a strain that he feels is the closest to the original description of the one offered over a hundred years ago. The fruit ranges from 3 to 5 inches wide and has an unusual coloring caused by dark orange skin covering red and green flesh. The taste is delicious and it was the first full-sized tomato to ripen in our Lyon Township garden this year.
