They are a rare, large, slightly flattened beefsteak tomato from La Mancha, Spain. // Origin Spain, region of La Mancha. Has been considdered extinct. Big beefsteak plants from 10 to 15 ouncess. Purple fruits with olive green shoulders. The pink oxheart marbled flesh is very tasty. Indeterminate plants with powerfull vigor. This heirloom likes hot growing conditions. The researchers from the University of LaMancha saved this tomato variety from being lost.
