Zachary

Description

Zachary is an F9 growout of Purple Haze F1. This potato leaf selection produces small/medium, round-to-flattened, purple tomatoes with excellent, complex flavor. While not intended to replace the F1 created by Keith Mueller, Zachary expresses many of the best traits from the parents Keith used to create Purple Haze. The initial selections and growouts (through the F5 generation) were made by Ray Newstead of Campbell, CA. and the final selections (to F9) were made by my sister Marla M. of Sacramento, CA. I am selling both F9 and F10 seed of Zachary – the F10 seed is showing about a 5% cross, so please plant only seedlings producing potato leaf plants.
